When to Choose Urgent Care vs the ER
Urgent care is appropriate for most minor injuries, wounds, and musculoskeletal issues. If you have severe bleeding, major trauma, loss of consciousness, or a life-threatening injury, please go directly to the emergency room or call 911.

Yes. We evaluate and treat sprains, strains, joint injuries, and minor sports injuries at our Charlotte urgent care locations. X-ray is available when needed.

Yes. We provide sutures, wound cleaning, dressing changes, and follow-up wound care for cuts and
lacerations.

We can evaluate suspected fractures and provide X-rays when indicated. If a higher level of orthopedic
care is needed, we help coordinate next steps.

Yes. We treat non-emergency work injuries and provide documentation, return-to-work notes, and
follow-up care.

We evaluate joint and finger dislocations and provide appropriate treatment or referral based on severity
and imaging findings.

Yes. We evaluate minor head injuries and perform concussion assessments. Severe head injuries should
be seen in the ER.

X-ray is available at our Steele Creek location. Patients evaluated at either location can be directed for
imaging without repeating the visit

Yes. We safely remove splinters, ticks, and other foreign bodies and provide wound care afterward.

No appointment is required. Walk-ins are welcome 7 days a week, though online booking is available to
reduce wait time.

Urgent care is appropriate for non-life-threatening injuries like sprains, cuts, minor burns, and work
injuries. Go to the ER for severe trauma, heavy bleeding, or loss of consciousness.
